(Abdulloh bin Umar) it is reported that he said: the Messenger of Allah, when he sat in prayer, put his right hand on his right thigh and clasped all the fingers, and pointed with his index finger and placed his left hand on his left thigh.

(Waa-il bin Hujr) it is reported that he said about the nature of the prayer of the Prophet - Peace and blessing be upon him - : ... then sit down and make the left foot as a seat and place the left hand on the left thigh and put the elbow of the right hand on the thigh of his hand, holding ( fingers included) two fingers (thumb and index) then he raised his finger (index) and I - Peace and blessing be upon him - him moving it and praying.
