Indeed, one of you sitting on coals of fire and having his clothes burned and penetrating his skin is better for him than sitting on a grave.

Do not pray facing the grave and do not sit on it.

(Ali bin Abi Talib) he said: Once we were in the burial of bodies in Baqi' Al-Ghorqod, then the Messenger of Allah came to us and sat down and we sat around him.
(Al-Baroo 'bin 'Aazib) he said: We went out with the Prophet - Peace and blessing be upon him - in the burial of the body of a person from Anshoor so we stopped at the person's grave when it was laid on the ground the Messenger of Allah - Peace and blessing be upon him - sat facing the Qibla, we sat around him.
