In the past I forbade you to visit the grave, so now make a pilgrimage because it can remind you of the afterlife. - Because verily he can soften the heart, make the eyes cry and remind the hereafter and do not speak words that distance (from the wisdom of the pilgrimage, such as worldly speech). - because the pilgrimage is reminiscent of death.

The grave is the beginning of the afterlife. If one is saved from it then what comes after is easier and if one is not saved from it then what is after is more difficult. By Allah I have never seen a sight there once that was horrifying except that the grave was more terrible than it.

Greetings to you from the believers and Muslims and we, if Allah willed, would have followed you, I ask for safety for us and you.

Indeed, Jibril came to me and said: Verily, your Lord has ordered you to come to the inhabitants of the Baqi Cemetery, and then you ask forgiveness for them. Say: Greetings to the householders from among the believers and Muslims, may Allah have mercy on those who precede and those who come after us and indeed we, if Allah willed, would have followed you.
