When Ramadan comes, the gates of heaven are opened and the gates of hell are closed and the devils are shackled.

When the first night of the month of Ramadan comes in shackles the disobedient demons and jinn, the gates of hell are closed, and not a single door is opened from it, and the gates of heaven are opened and not a single door is closed from it. There is a voice calling out: O you who desire goodness, face; O who wants evil, stop. Allah has people who are set free from the fires of hell, and that is every night.

Whoever fasts Ramadan with faith and seeks reward, his previous sins will be forgiven for him.
