(The Messenger of Allah - Peace and blessing be upon him - said about the most important fasting after Ramadan:) Fasting in Allah's month, Muharram.

I hope to Allah regarding fasting Arofah (date of Dhul Hijjah) to erase the sins of the previous year and the year after it, while fasting Ashura (date of Muharram) the previous year.

Those deeds are reported on Mondays and Thursdays, so I like to report my deeds while I fast.

(When he was asked about fasting on Mondays:) In that heart I was born and revelations were revealed to me. - That was the day when I was born and I was sent (as a prophet) or revealed (revelation) to him.

Whoever among you wants to fast for a month and three days should fast on white days (ayyamul bidh). - O Abu Dharr, if you fast in a month three times then fast on the date , and (hijri calendar, not AD).
