Ibn Abbas he said; "Umar came to the Messenger of Allah -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- and said: "O Messenger of Allah, perish me." He asked: "What destroyed you?" Umar said: "I diverted my horse last night." But the Messenger of Allah -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- did not respond. Then the verse came down: "Your wives are (like) the land where you grow crops, so come to the land where you grow crops however you want." Surah Al-Baqarah: , face forward or backward, and stay away from the anus and period."
