busy, both intellectually and practically, is but hypocrisy and delusion. If you do not prepare now
for eternal
life, when will you prepare? If you do not now sever these attachments, when will
you sever them?‟ On
hearing that, the impulse would be stirred and the resolution made to take to flight.
Soon, however, Satan would return. `This is a passing mood‟, he would say; `do not yield to it, for
it will
quickly disappear; if you comply with it and leave this influential position, these comfortable and
dignified
circumstances where you are free from troubles and disturbances, this state of safety and security
where
you are untouched by the contentions of your adversaries, then you will probably come to yourself
again
and will not find it easy to return to all this‟.
