The great need for Muslims to learn the Prophet’s explanation of the Koran:
In each era there will always be a need for the Koran to be explained. Muslims are
obliged to learn, memorize its words and understand their meaning and indications. This
command is obligatory upon all Muslims and therefore it is a necessity for the Islamic
world to have experts in the science of the explanation of the Koran.
There is no doubt that understanding the Book of Allah, guides us in our daily life, and
that when a person recites the Koran, it helps him/her to contemplate which is an
important achievement in itself. Whosoever does not pay attention to this will not savor
the delicacy of its tasting found in its promise, advice, messages and stories.
Among its effects is that it strengthens one's belief by calling on the Names of Allah, with
His attributes as well as the precious certain proof of His Oneness. It increases one's
love of Allah, the Most High, it strengthens and gives confidence, causes one to weep
through fear of Him on account of His Greatness and Exaltedness. It distances oneself
from a life of neglect and encourages the doing of good deeds in preparation for the Day
of Judgement. Such fruits will not be able to be savored except by those who
contemplate on the greatness of the Koran.
