The verse that reads “the Merciful and the Most Merciful” is coupled with the next verse
“Lord of the Worlds.” It is Allah who fashioned you from nothing and provides you with
favors without counting and so one praises Him for the favors one receives through His
Mercy, because His Lordship is full of mercy in such a way that no human or jinn can
begin to comprehend.
Allah is the Lord of both believer and unbeliever. In His Mercy he bestows to those who
believe in one of His names, “the Most Merciful” and to those who do not believe in
another of His names “the Merciful”.
In the verse that reads, “Praise be to Allah”, Allah is praised for Himself, His attributes,
His Favors, His Mercy, His methodology, His Divine planning and His praise before
