peace be upon him, had completed his prayer I said to him, “O son of Abdul Mutalib”,
and the Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him, inquired of me what I
wanted. I told him, “I am able to cure people affected by evil spirits. If you wish, I can
cure you as well. Do not think you illness is a great matter because I have cured people
who were more sick than yourself. I have just come from some of your people who have
nothing good to say about you. They say you are insane and that you have brought
about disunity amongst them, and tell them that their forefathers were misguided. They
also say you insult their gods, so I concluded that only an insane person would do such
things.”
The Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him, listen patiently and responded
saying, “Indeed, all praise is for Allah. I praise Him and seek His help. I believe in Him
and have absolute trust in Him. There can be none to misguide a person whom Allah
has guided and there are none who can guide a person whom Allah has caused to go

astray. I bear witness that there is no god except Allah who has no partner. I bear
