Salman’s Search for the Truth
Salman grew up in Persia. His father was the governor of his province and owned
several acres of land. Salman‟s father followed the Zoroastrian religion – that is people
who worship the fire – and loved Salman dearly, in fact he loved him so much that he
kept him in seclusion in his home, just as if he were a young girl.
Salman spent his day worshiping the fire, which pleased his father, but doubts kept
creeping into his mind whether it was the right thing to do. But as he was isolated from
society he did not know of another religion.
Salman‟s father was a very busy man, and one day he had some important business
that needed urgent attention so he asked Salman to go into the fields and instruct his
laborers with their duties for the day and told him to return home as quickly as possible
because he would worry about him.
Salman Learns about Prophet Jesus
Salman had never left his home before and as he walked through the fields he heard
