voices coming from a Nazarene church – that is a church who worshipped God alone
and honored Jesus as His prophet rather that the Christian church that followed the
corrupted teachings of Paul. Salman was struck by what he heard and the intensity of
the devotional prayers. His heart and soul were captivated and he felt a compelling urge
to sit down and listen all day and completely forgot about the laborers in the fields.

When his son had not returned Salman‟s father became anxious so and sent a servant
out into the farm to look for him. The servant looked in all directions but could not find
him. It was getting late and the sun was about to set when Salman returned home.

Salman went to greet his father who was at first happy to see his son but at the same
time upset by his taking such a long time and demanded, “Where have you been all
day? Didn‟t I give you instructions to return immediately after you had given the laborers
their instructions for the day!” Salman replied, “O father, I came across some Christians
offering their prayers and praising the Creator alone, and spent to day listening to them.”
His father was shaken and abruptly replied, “No, your religion and the religion of your
forefathers is far superior!” Salman replied, “Truly my dear father, their religion is better
than ours they worship the Creator of all things, whereas we worship the fire which we
ourselves make and when we die, it dies out.” Salman‟s father became extremely angry
