Lady Umm Salamah's full name was Hind, daughter of Abi Umayyah. Her mother was
Atikah. The Prophet (salla Allahu alihi wa sallam) married her when she was 32 years
old. She was amongst those who were literate and well versed in religious knowledge
and reported over 20 prophetic quotations. Lady Umm Salamah died in the year 62H.
Lady Zaynab, daughter of Jahsh
Lady Zaynab was the cousin of the Prophet, (salla Allahu alihi wa sallam) he married her
when she was 36 years of age. She was known for her piety and was the first wife to
pass away after the death of the Prophet (salla Allahu alihi wa sallam). She died in the
20th year after the migration at the age of 53.

Lady Juwairiyah, daughter of Al-Harith
Lady Juwairiyah was the daughter of the chief of the tribe of Mustalik and taken captive
after a conflict with her tribe and embraced Islam. The Prophet (salla Allahu alihi wa
