Tuesday, Ramadan 17th, 58H she passed away at the age of sixty-six and Abu Hurayah
led the funeral prayer.
Lady Hafsah, daughter of Omar the son of Al Khattab
The mother of Lady Hafsah was Zaynab, daughter of Maz'un. The Prophet (salla Allahu
alihi wa sallam) married her when she was 22 years of age in the year 3H. She was
among those who were literate and died at the age of 59 in the year 45H.
Lady Zaynab, daughter of Khuzaimah
Lady Zaynab was from the tribe of Hilal bin Aamir and was known as "Mother of the
Poor" on account of her generosity and care. The Prophet (salla Allahu alihi wa sallam)
married when she was 30 years old in the 3rd year after the migration. She passed away
three months after their marriage.
