pleased with them, reported that they learned the Koran directly from the Prophet, praise
and peace be upon him. He taught them a set of approximately ten verses at a time and
from his teaching they also learned not only the depth of its science, but also its practice.
After its learning and understanding had been accomplished the Prophet, praise and
peace be upon him, would then proceed to the next set of verses.
Othman and Abdullah said, "We have studied the Koran and its knowledge and put it

The Beginning of the Explanation of the Koran:
Muhaddith, Shaykh Talidi spoke of his method of approach to his great work saying, "I
have, by the blessing and help of Allah, the Most High, researched and gathered the
authentic prophetic sayings relating to the explanation of the Koran. I extracted these
explanations from the references of authentic hadith and the prophetic way collection
coupled to the outstanding references of the Sunnah of the Prophet.
Al Hamdulillah, this work is the first explanation based only on authentic hadiths and
excludes all other lesser ranks of hadith. Previous books were found to have included
