Part_one_Explanation_of_Koran_and_Al_Fatihah, page : 34
The first scholars to write down these explanations for posterity were Abdur Razzaq
Al San'ani, Jarir‟s son of At-Tabari, Abi Hatim's son and people of a similar caliber.
Thereafter came Bagawi, the reviver of the prophetic way, followed by Kathir's son and
at a later date by Imam As-Suyuti.
On account of the diligence and devotion of these scholars three centuries after the
advent of Islam, the transmission of the explanation of the Koran has remained pristine
in its authenticity.
Thereafter, these collections were followed by compilers who decided to omit the chain
of narrators. Amongst these collections is the "Explanation of the Koran" by Nasafi, "The
Ruling" of Qurtubi, "The Keys of the Unseen" by Ar Razi, "The Core of the Explanation"
by Khazin, "The Ocean" by Al Hayan, and "The Spirit of Clarity" by Alusi as well as
others.
