Khalid, “You will follow him and enter Islam, and Islam will save you from entering the
Fire of Hell which is where your father will be.”
Khalid made post haste to meet the Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him,
and caught up with him in a place called Ajyaad and said, “O Muhammad, who do you
call me too?” He replied, “I call you to the One and only God, Allah, who has no partner
and to believe that Muhammad is His worshiper and Messenger. I call upon you to
renounce your worship of stones that can neither hear, cause harm or benefit you – they
themselves do not know those who worship them from those who do not!” Khalid
accepted the truth saying, “I bear witness that there is no god except Allah, and I bear
witness that you are the Messenger of Allah.” The Messenger of Allah, praise and peace
be upon him, was visibly happy to hear Khalid‟s witnessing.
