even think of doing anything so immoral or despicable and refused to give the bishop a
Christian burial, rather they pinned him to a tree and threw stones at his corpse and
elected a pious man to replace him.

The New Bishop

The new bishop was the opposite of the corrupt bishop. He was a very pious, elderly,
devout man who spent most of his day and night worshipping the Creator and so
Salman stayed and served him whilst learning more about the teachings of Prophet
Jesus.

Time passed and as death approached the bishop Salman went to him and told him that
no one loved him more than he did and asked him to whom he should go after his
passing. The bishop said, “O my son, I do not know of anyone except Rahin Maushil, go
to him and you will find him like myself.” So when the time of departure came upon the
bishop, Salman went to Maushil and told him that the bishop had recommended that he
should go to him and serve him.
