Noah's people were drowned because they belied him 25:37-40

25:37 The nation of Noah, We drowned them when they belied their Messenger, and made of them a sign to the nation. For the harm doers We have prepared a painful punishment

25.37 وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ لَّمَّا كَذَّبُوا الرُّسُلَ أَغْرَقْنَاهُمْ وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ لِلنَّاسِ آيَةً وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا

Aad, Thamood and the nation of Er Rass were destroyed because they belied their prophets, it was not an act of the so called "Mother Nature" 23:38-40

25:38 also to Aad and Thamood, and the nation of Er Rass and many generations in between;

25.38 وَعَادًا وَثَمُودَ وَأَصْحَابَ الرَّسِّ وَقُرُونًا بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ كَثِيرًا

25:39 to each of them We gave examples, and each of them We utterly ruined.

25.39 وَكُلًّا ضَرَبْنَا لَهُ الْأَمْثَالَ وَكُلًّا تَبَّرْنَا تَتْبِيرًا

25:40 They have surely passed by the village which was rained upon by evil rain (of stones); what, have they never seen it? No, they look for no resurrection.

25.40 وَلَقَدْ أَتَوْا عَلَى الْقَرْيَةِ الَّتِي أُمْطِرَتْ مَطَرَ السَّوْءِ أَفَلَمْ يَكُونُوا يَرَوْنَهَا بَلْ كَانُوا لَا يَرْجُونَ نُشُورًا
