The satans try to listen to the High Assembly but are chased away by a piercing flame 37:6-10
37:6 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the planets,
37.6 إِنَّا زَيَّنَّا السَّمَاء الدُّنْيَا بِزِينَةٍ الْكَوَاكِبِ
37:7 a protection against every rebel satan;
37.7 وَحِفْظًا مِّن كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ مَّارِدٍ
37:8 so they cannot listen to the High Assembly, for they are pelted from every side.
37.8 لَا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى الْمَلَإِ الْأَعْلَى وَيُقْذَفُونَ مِن كُلِّ جَانِبٍ
37:9 They are rejected and theirs is an everlasting punishment;
37.9 دُحُورًا وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ وَاصِبٌ
37:10 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame.
37.10 إِلَّا مَنْ خَطِفَ الْخَطْفَةَ فَأَتْبَعَهُ شِهَابٌ ثَاقِبٌ
