The punishment of Pharaoh and his people 40:46-52

40:46 (Before) the Fire they shall be exposed morning and evening, and on the Day when the Hour comes, (it will be said), 'Admit the family of Pharaoh into the most terrible punishment!'

40.46 النَّارُ يُعْرَضُونَ عَلَيْهَا غُدُوًّا وَعَشِيًّا وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ أَدْخِلُوا آلَ فِرْعَوْنَ أَشَدَّ الْعَذَابِ

40:47 And when they argue with one another in Hell, the weak will say to the proud, 'We were your followers, will you help us against any share of the Fire?'

40.47 وَإِذْ يَتَحَاجُّونَ فِي النَّارِ فَيَقُولُ الضُّعَفَاء لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمْ تَبَعًا فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّغْنُونَ عَنَّا نَصِيبًا مِّنَ النَّارِ

40:48 But those who were proud will reply, 'All of us are in it (Hell). Allah has judged between His worshipers.'

40.48 قَالَ الَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا إِنَّا كُلٌّ فِيهَا إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ حَكَمَ بَيْنَ الْعِبَادِ

40:49 And those in the Fire will say to the keepers of Gehenna (Hell), 'Call your Lord to lessen our punishment for one day!'

40.49 وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ فِي النَّارِ لِخَزَنَةِ جَهَنَّمَ ادْعُوا رَبَّكُمْ يُخَفِّفْ عَنَّا يَوْمًا مِّنَ الْعَذَابِ

40:50 But they will say, 'Did your Messengers not come to you with clear signs?' 'Yes indeed, ' they will answer. And they will reply, 'Then you call.' But the calling of the unbelievers is only in error.

40.50 قَالُوا أَوَلَمْ تَكُ تَأْتِيكُمْ رُسُلُكُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ قَالُوا بَلَى قَالُوا فَادْعُوا وَمَا دُعَاء الْكَافِرِينَ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَالٍ

40:51 Surely, We shall help Our Messengers and the believers both in this world and on the Day when the witnesses rise.

40.51 إِنَّا لَنَنصُرُ رُسُلَنَا وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَيَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْأَشْهَادُ

40:52 On that Day no excuse will benefit the harm doers. Theirs shall be the curse, and an evil lodging.

40.52 يَوْمَ لَا يَنفَعُ الظَّالِمِينَ مَعْذِرَتُهُمْ وَلَهُمُ اللَّعْنَةُ وَلَهُمْ سُوءُ الدَّارِ
