False gods 7:197-198
7:197 Those whom you invoke, other than Him (Allah), cannot help you, nor can they help themselves.'
7.197 وَالَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ لاَ يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَكُمْ وَلآ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَنْصُرُونَ
7:198 If you call them to guidance, they will not hear you. You see them looking towards you, but they cannot see.
7.198 وَإِن تَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى الْهُدَى لاَ يَسْمَعُواْ وَتَرَاهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَيْكَ وَهُمْ لاَ يُبْصِرُونَ
