The story of Prophet Lot and the destruction of his nation 15:57-64
15:57 He asked, 'Messengers, what is your errand?'
15.57 قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ أَيُّهَا الْمُرْسَلُونَ
15:58 They replied, 'We are sent to sinful nation,
15.58 قَالُواْ إِنَّا أُرْسِلْنَا إِلَى قَوْمٍ مُّجْرِمِينَ
15:59 except Lot's family, of whom we shall save all,
15.59 إِلاَّ آلَ لُوطٍ إِنَّا لَمُنَجُّوهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
15:60 except his wife. We decreed that she should be amongst those who remain behind.
15.60 إِلاَّ امْرَأَتَهُ قَدَّرْنَا إِنَّهَا لَمِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ
15:61 And when the envoys came to the family of Lot,
15.61 فَلَمَّا جَاء آلَ لُوطٍ الْمُرْسَلُونَ
15:62 he said to them, 'I do not know you.'
15.62 قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّنكَرُونَ
15:63 'No,' they replied, 'We bring you (news) of that concerning which they were doubting.
15.63 قَالُواْ بَلْ جِئْنَاكَ بِمَا كَانُواْ فِيهِ يَمْتَرُونَ
15:64 We bring you the truth, and indeed we are truthful.
15.64 وَأَتَيْنَاكَ بَالْحَقِّ وَإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ
