The price for associating another with Allah 17:39-42

17:39 That is of the wisdom your Lord has revealed to you. Do not set up with Allah another god, or you will be cast into Gehenna (Hell), condemned and rejected.
17.39 ذَلِكَ مِمَّا أَوْحَى إِلَيْكَ رَبُّكَ مِنَ الْحِكْمَةِ وَلاَ تَجْعَلْ مَعَ اللّهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ فَتُلْقَى فِي جَهَنَّمَ مَلُومًا مَّدْحُورًا
17:40 What! Has your Lord favored you with sons and taken to Himself females from among the angels? Indeed, you utter a monstrous thing!
17.40 أَفَأَصْفَاكُمْ رَبُّكُم بِالْبَنِينَ وَاتَّخَذَ مِنَ الْمَلآئِكَةِ إِنَاثًا إِنَّكُمْ لَتَقُولُونَ قَوْلاً عَظِيمًا
17:41 In this Koran We have clarified so that they may remember; but it has only increased their aversion.
17.41 وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا فِي هَذَا الْقُرْآنِ لِيَذَّكَّرُواْ وَمَا يَزِيدُهُمْ إِلاَّ نُفُورًا
17:42 Say, 'If there had been other gods with Him, as they say, they would surely have sought a way to the Lord of the Throne.'
17.42 قُل لَّوْ كَانَ مَعَهُ آلِهَةٌ كَمَا يَقُولُونَ إِذًا لاَّبْتَغَوْاْ إِلَى ذِي الْعَرْشِ سَبِيلاً
