The Koran was sent down as a healing and a mercy 17:82
17:82 We sent down of the Koran that which is a healing and a mercy to believers, but to the harm doers it does not increase them, except in loss.
17.82 وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَاء وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلاَ يَزِيدُ الظَّالِمِينَ إَلاَّ خَسَارًا
