The true followers of previous prophets weep in humility when they hear the recitation of the Koran because they know it is the truth from Allah 17:105-110

17:105 We have sent it (the Koran) down with the truth, and with the truth it has come down. We have not sent you except a bearer of glad tidings and a warner,

17.105 وَبِالْحَقِّ أَنزَلْنَاهُ وَبِالْحَقِّ نَزَلَ وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلاَّ مُبَشِّرًا وَنَذِيرًا

17:106 and We have divided the Koran for you to recite at intervals to mankind and We have sent it down successively.

17.106 وَقُرْآناً فَرَقْنَاهُ لِتَقْرَأَهُ عَلَى النَّاسِ عَلَى مُكْثٍ وَنَزَّلْنَاهُ تَنزِيلاً

17:107 Say, 'Believe in it, or do not believe. When it is recited to those to whom knowledge was given before they fall prostrate upon their faces

17.107 قُلْ آمِنُواْ بِهِ أَوْ لاَ تُؤْمِنُواْ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْعِلْمَ مِن قَبْلِهِ إِذَا يُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ يَخِرُّونَ لِلأَذْقَانِ سُجَّدًا

17:108 and say, "Exaltations be to our Lord! The promise of our Lord is done."'

17.108 وَيَقُولُونَ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّنَا إِن كَانَ وَعْدُ رَبِّنَا لَمَفْعُولاً

17:109 They fall down upon their chin, weeping and it increases them in humility.

17.109 وَيَخِرُّونَ لِلأَذْقَانِ يَبْكُونَ وَيَزِيدُهُمْ خُشُوعًا*

17:110 Say, 'Call upon Allah, or call upon the Merciful; whichever (Name) you call upon, to Him belong the Most Beautiful Names.' Pray neither loudly nor to quietly, rather, seek a middle course between them.

17.110 قُلِ ادْعُواْ اللّهَ أَوِ ادْعُواْ الرَّحْمَنَ أَيًّا مَّا تَدْعُواْ فَلَهُ الأَسْمَاء الْحُسْنَى وَلاَ تَجْهَرْ بِصَلاَتِكَ وَلاَ تُخَافِتْ بِهَا وَابْتَغِ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ سَبِيلاً
