Which of the favors of Allah will you dispute? 53:43-62
53:43 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep.
53.43 وَأَنَّهُ هُوَ أَضْحَكَ وَأَبْكَى
53:44 and that it is He who causes to die, and causes to live
53.44 وَأَنَّهُ هُوَ أَمَاتَ وَأَحْيَا
53:45 and that it is He who created pairs, the male and the female,
53.45 وَأَنَّهُ خَلَقَ الزَّوْجَيْنِ الذَّكَرَ وَالْأُنثَى
53:46 from an ejaculated drop (of sperm),
53.46 مِن نُّطْفَةٍ إِذَا تُمْنَى
53:47 and that upon Him is the second creation
53.47 وَأَنَّ عَلَيْهِ النَّشْأَةَ الْأُخْرَى
53:48 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard,
53.48 وَأَنَّهُ هُوَ أَغْنَى وَأَقْنَى
53:49 and that He is the Lord of (the star) Sirius,
53.49 وَأَنَّهُ هُوَ رَبُّ الشِّعْرَى
53:50 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad
53.50 وَأَنَّهُ أَهْلَكَ عَادًا الْأُولَى
53:51 and Thamood, sparing no one,
53.51 وَثَمُودَ فَمَا أَبْقَى
53:52 and before them the nation of Noah, they exceeded in evil and were insolent.
53.52 وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِّن قَبْلُ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا هُمْ أَظْلَمَ وَأَطْغَى
53:53 He plunged the villages
53.53 وَالْمُؤْتَفِكَةَ أَهْوَى
53:54 so that there came upon them that which came.
53.54 فَغَشَّاهَا مَا غَشَّى
53:55 So which then of your Lord's favors do you dispute?
53.55 فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكَ تَتَمَارَى
53:56 This is a warner from the warners of ancient times.
53.56 هَذَا نَذِيرٌ مِّنَ النُّذُرِ الْأُولَى
53:57 The imminent is near at hand;
53.57 أَزِفَتْ الْآزِفَةُ
53:58 none except Allah can disclose it.
53.58 لَيْسَ لَهَا مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ كَاشِفَةٌ
53:59 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)?
53.59 أَفَمِنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ تَعْجَبُونَ
53:60 Or do you laugh, and do you not weep
53.60 وَتَضْحَكُونَ وَلَا تَبْكُونَ
53:61 while you are thoughtless?
53.61 وَأَنتُمْ سَامِدُونَ
53:62 Rather, prostrate to Allah and worship Him.
53.62 فَاسْجُدُوا لِلَّهِ وَاعْبُدُوا*
